PEACE GARDENS
There is loads of really unique and interesting artwork in the peace gardens- underneath the fountains, tiling on the floor and on the walls. I find this useful as I can recreate it on my postcards which will helpe give a true feel for the gardens. There is also some good examples of typography on the information signs.

PEACE GARDENS
My second favourite place in Sheffield is the Peace Gardens. Me and my friends used to vist here in the summers during college. We also once attended a Flash Mob events here. This is a favourite places because of the memories I have there, I love looking back at the times I spent there with good friends.I am also making new memories here as I have recently started seeing friends and my sister here during the winter months for Coffee in Cafe Nero.

DIVISION STREET I first ventured up onto Division street during freshers week and I have loved it ever since. There are so many cute and quaint little shops that sell some generic items but mostly unique and individual pieces. I especially like the shop in the Forum as they are all independent sellers. There are also some mainstream shops on Division street and many lovely places to eat and drink. I also love how at the end of what looks like a typical high street is a large open space with a skate park and places to sit outside. There are loads of really unique shop fronts with some really interesting uses of typography that I could recreate on my Postcard designs.I do feel that this street is well known about- but for people outside of Sheffield I think they need to know about it because its a really interesting part of Sheffield.

These are my ‘Funny’ Postcards, these ones I bought purely because I though they were funny. They all use some sort of pun or joke.

These are a few miscellaneous postcards that I title as ‘beautiful’. Most of these ones I bought on gloomy days to cheer myself up, or just because I found them inspiring and beautiful. They are all random designs based on certain things such as butterflies or birds. The butterfly one is my favourite, it uses all my favourite colours and by the feels of it is printed on recycled card, there is also a slight relief to the butterflies. If you run your finger over them you can feel the texture of the ink that has been used to print them.

These are my postcards from places that I have visited in the last year.- Cala GaldanaThis is a holiday destination that I have visited for the past two summers with my boyfriend and his family. We’re going to make it a third time this year. It is such a beautiful place, so calm and sunny that I miss it every time I leave. This place was actually the first time I ever though to buy a postcard, I have them stuck on my fridge to remind me of my memories and also to give me inspiration and encouragment knowing i’ll be back there soon.- ParisThese postcards are from a trip to Paris this year for valentines. It was a surprise gift from my boyfriend and so I knew I had to buy some sort of memoribilia from this trip. We went for a day and half (two with travelling) and had a fantastic time.I know i’ll never forget it but I like to have the postcards there as a reminder.
